Boyfriend finds favor with Japanese broadcaster NHK
On November 7 and 14, Boyfriend will emerge on Neccyuu Stadium, NHK’s popular variety show. It’s unprecedented that such a new face as Boyfriend is invited to the show.
The production crew of the show designed a special episode to introduce the next-generation K-POP musicians and ‘idol’ groups. Boyfriend is currently playing in Korea with its second single album Don’t Touch My Girl, preparing to advance into Japan. That’s why Boyfriend is attracting much attention as one of the seats for the episode.
Someone from the Japanese music industry said, “I believe that Boyfriend is likely to appeal to Japanese music fans in its visual images and music. I can say they will be a smash. It’s no wonder that major agencies and record companies have their eyes on them.”
